The DDS program will provide students with an excellent clinical education in the school’s dental clinics and the University of Utah community clinics. The curriculum is based on a progressive presentation of oral health topics and subjects with increasing depth and complexity throughout the duration of the program. Students will be active participants along with faculty in their education. The majority of student education will take place in the new Ray & Tye Noorda Oral Health Sciences Building. The building is 80,000 square feet of education, clinic, laboratory, and research space. The in-house clinic features more than 80 patient operatories for all aspects of oral health care. Students will have many opportunities to treat patients from a variety of underserved populations in Utah.
