The world of ideas, products and services gets noisier and noisier every day. So how can a business rise above the clutter so its message can be heard?

That is the genius of marketing. Marketing students at the David Eccles School of Business learn how to effectively analyze competitive markets and consumer behavior. Then they learn how to develop product management strategies and persuasive promotional campaigns to deliver value to customers.

Faculty in the Department of Marketing expose students to the latest theories through courses in marketing management and strategy, digital and internet marketing, integrated marketing communications, consumer behavior, marketing research, marketing models, marketing analytics, database marketing, customer relationship management, personal selling, international marketing, and entrepreneurial marketing. Students then test their knowledge in the real world through our Internship Program, work on advertising campaigns for real companies under the supervision of a nationwide network of professional creative directors in the AdThing, and network with alumni and leading employers through the American Marketing Association to ensure they’re meeting all the right people.

A marketing education from the David Eccles School of Business gives you a competitive advantage in one of the largest areas of employment opportunity in business today.
