The Minor in Multidisciplinary Design is a plan of study developed for an undergraduate student who has a strong interest in understanding the creative process and crafting products and ideas that serve both individual and collective needs. Recognizing an increasingly complex work environment, the minor provides tools for tackling indeterminate problems from artifact creation to decision making and strategic planning. The Minor includes courses in the College of Architecture + Planning, College of Fine Arts, and Department of Communication. Explorations courses not listed here should be discussed with the program director. (Please note, DES 3600 must be completed before DES 4010)
Acceptance into the Minor in Multidisciplinary Design requires meeting with the program director and completion of the application. The student must be an undergraduate in good standing with a designated major and a minimum GPA of 2.8.
