Students will select an emphasis from the following list: Development & Sustainability, Foreign Relations & Security, Global Health, Culture & Identity, and Trade & Commerce. Courses must be selected from the approved lists available on the International Studies website. Courses must originate from at least two departments.
For the Bachelor of Arts - Complete 12 credits in 4 courses.
For the Bachelor of Science - Complete 18 credits in 6 courses.
Upper Division Language Requirement (B.A. Only)
Complete 6 credits in 2 courses of language at the 3000 level or higher (taught in the target language).
Participate in a learning abroad program or global internship earning a minimum of 3 credits. The program must be approved by an International & Area Studies advisor.
