Admission Requirements

  • A minimum cumulative gpa of 3.0 overall is required for consideration for admission to the major
  • A minimum cumulative gpa of 3.0 is required in pre-major courses for consideration for admission to the major

Graduation Requirements

  • A minimum cumulative gpa of 2.50 is required for graduation
  • All CS courses must maintain a minimum cumulative gpa of 2.50 for graduation

  • Select any FF, HF, BF, DV or IR courses that are 3000-level or higher.

Honors Required Courses - Engineering [Official]


Students who complete the Honors Degree requirements AND maintain a 3.5 gpa will receive the Honors Degree (H.B.S.) designation on their diploma.

Thesis


Complete 1 Honors Thesis course (DEPT 4999) in your major department.

Final thesis must be approved by Honors Advisor.
