Description
In specialist year practicum, students apply advanced roles, models, and social work theories to agency practice that supports their area of specialization. Under the supervision of an approved field instructor, students build upon generalist fieldwork to increase their skills in advanced, multi-modal developmentally focused areas of social work practice that incorporates inclusive, just and culturally responsive intervention strategies, and that apply social work specific ethics, values, and skills at the micro, mezzo and macro levels.
