Description
Students will acquire working familiarity with the basic principles and theory of descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics will include measurement, elementary sampling, issues in data collection, data description, association, probability, and fundamentals of hypothesis testing and inference. Focus is on conceptual understanding rather than mathematical computation.
