Description
The basic procedures involved with the activity of rock climbing will be explained, demonstrated, and practiced during this course. All skills including those associated with lead climbing will be explored, taught and managed in a single pitch setting. "Leave No Trace" skills, and associated safety skills will be taught and applied throughout the course. Students will also explore the issues and guidelines related to the management and usage of public lands as they relate to recreational use.
