Proseminar-style overview of writing and rhetoric studies/rhetoric and composition, with a focus on professional topics/practices in the field. Students work on genres important to their careers, including conference proposals, presentations, publishing, and writing for industry and nonprofit organizations. Features guest lectures/class sessions by department faculty members.
