Required for neonatal nurse practitioner emphasis students to develop clinical skills in assessment, diagnostic reasoning, medical decision making, creating management plans, and evaluating treatment responses of neonatal patients in the acute care setting. This course is the first of a four-course series and requires completion of 120 direct clinical patient care hours supervised by an experienced preceptor.
