Graduate Program

The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah provides consultation and management services for a wide range of complex neurological problems. These include occlusive cerebrovascular disease, aneurysms, cerebral arteriovenous malformations, degenerative disease of the cervical and lumbar spine, and primary and recurrent primary brain tumors including pituitary and acoustic nerve tumors. Severe head and spinal cord injuries also are treated.

Study in neurosurgery is limited to medical students only.
