Program Description

The Master of Science degree is designed for working professionals who want to face the new health care challenges related to biomedical informatics and health information technology. A Master of Science degree in biomedical informatics answers this demand by training in applied technical skills and management of health care analytics. Our program is geared toward clinicians and health care professionals, biologists, and graduates in information technology and data science.

Program Admissions Requirements

  • Three recommendations (academic or professional)

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

  • College transcripts

  • CV/Resume

  • Personal statement (1-2 pages)

  • English proficiency requirement (international applicants only)

Please note: Graduate exams (i.e. GRE, GMAT, etc.) are not required to apply to the DBMI MS Program. There are no official prerequisites, but completed coursework in biology, programming, and statistics are highly recommended.
