Successful completion of Chemical Engineering Core Classes (at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average from core classes, with no individual grades lower than a C)
Successful completion of elective coursework (Amount of elective coursework varies, depending on educational history. Chemical Engineering courses numbered 6000-level and above which are not listed as part of the core are considered electives. Please see the Director of Graduate Studies or Supervisory Committee Chair for more information.)
Successful completion of MBA coursework requirements (please see MBA/MS Ambassador for information on MBA requirements (msambassador@business.utah.edu)

Program Admissions Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University (preferably an engineering degree; see Director of Graduate Studies for information on applying with a non-engineering bachelors degree)
Minimum of 3.0 cumulative undergraduate grade point average
Minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 80 (internet-based) OR minimum IELTS score of 6.5 for international students
GRE (minimum score of 155 on quantitative section)
3 letters of recommendation
Personal statement of academic goals/purpose
