Program Description
The Construction Engineering program equips students with the technical expertise, management skills, and real-world problem-solving abilities required to excel in the construction industry. This interdisciplinary program blends principles of civil engineering, construction management, and sustainable practices, preparing graduates to oversee complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
Students gain a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering science while exploring topics such as structural design, construction methods, project planning, and cost estimation. Practical experience is emphasized through laboratory work and a capstone project that simulates real-world challenges. Graduates of the program are equipped to pursue licensure as professional engineers (PEs).
