Program Description
The German BA Program at the University of Utah provides students with comprehensive language training and an in-depth exploration of German-speaking cultures. Students develop advanced proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding German, preparing them for effective communication in both everyday and professional contexts.
In addition to language acquisition, the program offers a rich curriculum in German literature, history, philosophy, and the arts, with a focus on key cultural movements and figures that have shaped the German-speaking world. Students engage with works from classical to contemporary authors, examining their impact on global culture and thought.
