Program Description

The goal of the Human Rights and Resources pathway is to offer courses and experiences that give students a systems-level approach to understanding how material and cultural resources are limited and variably distributed across people and groups, and the kinds of scientific and ethical frameworks that can promote greater equity in resource developments and use.

Program Admissions Requirements

Students are eligible to apply for admission to the minor by being a member of the Honors College in good standing. Good standing is defined as admitted and entering first-year or transfer honors student or a current honors students with a cumulative University of Utah GPA of 3.50 or above. Official declaration in the minor is determined by completion and acceptance of a minor admission application.
