Program Description

The Honors Integrated Minor in Health develops interdisciplinary, systems-level thinking around issues of population health in order to understand and address health outcomes and achieve greater health equity and healthy societies. You will take courses in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences to develop a deep and nuanced understanding of the historical, social and environmental ecology of health and illness over place and time.  

Program Admissions Requirements

Students are eligible to apply for admission to the minor by being a member of the Honors College in good standing. Good standing is defined as admitted and entering first-year or transfer honors student or a current honors students with a cumulative University of Utah GPA of 3.50 or above. Official declaration in the minor is determined by completion and acceptance of a minor admission application.
