Program Admissions Requirements

Minimum Course Requirements: To be admitted to the Nuclear Engineering Program, prospective candidates must demonstrate competency at the undergraduate level in certain basic engineering and science subjects. To review a list of courses please click here.

Application Requirements: The following items must be submitted on the on-line application. Paper copies will not be accepted.

  • Personal Statement

  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae

  • Three (3) letters of recommendation

  • Unofficial Transcripts - a minimum of a 3.00 or higher undergraduate GPA on a 4.0 scale is required

  • Graduate Records Examination (GRE) - must be taken within the last 5 years

    • MS applicants - minimum combined score of 300 on quantitative and verbal sections.

    • PhD applicants - minimum quantitative score of 155 and minimum combined score of 300 on quantitative and verbal sections.

  • International students

    • 550 TOEFL

    • 6.5 IELTS
