Program Description
Students in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism are driven to create transformative experiences that elevate health, happiness, and community vitality. Blending theory with hands-on practice, our program prepares adventurous, collaborative, confident, tenacious, and inspiring leaders. Graduates thrive in experiential, people-centered professions — from outdoor and adventure organizations to public land management, tourism, youth development, hospitality and event management, and sport management.
