Program Description

The Digital Dentistry program is designed to provide dental professionals the opportunity to explore digital dentistry equipment and software. The program utilizes a sequencing and stackable model where student's complete coursework for a Certificate in Foundational Digital Dentistry with an option to transitioning to a full Masters of Digital Dentistry. Completion of the Certificate counts toward the Master of Digital Dentistry. The Certificate in Foundational Digital Dentistry offered by the University of Utah provides students higher education credibility and exposure to new technologies in digital dentistry.

Program Admissions Requirements

  • A DDS or DMD degree or equivalent (international students) degree with credit from required course work (from a pass/fail program) or a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher is required to apply.

  • All applicants will be asked to upload an unofficial copy of their academic transcripts when completing the application online. Current students or graduates of the University of Utah will not be required to submit their U or U transcripts.

  • Submission of the standardized application with personal statement and letters of reference.

  • Selection by the the Admissions Committee.
