Program Description

Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary major that explores the structure, function, and development of the nervous system, as well as its role in behavior, cognition, and disease. This program is ideal for students passionate about understanding the brain and its intricate role in human thought, behavior, and health. The curriculum plan integrates knowledge from psychology, biology, the social sciences, and data science. This major will provide students with a strong foundation in both the molecular and systems-level aspects of neuroscience. Graduates of the Neuroscience major may pursue careers in medicine, healthcare, research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and data science. This major will also prepare students for graduate and professional school, such as medical school.
