The undergraduate Certificate in Scoring for Film and Games-BMus Composition Emphasis is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor of Music with a Composition Emphasis (a separate certificate is available for students of other majors or emphases).

In addition to the general composition curriculum of the B.M.in Music, Composition Emphasis, this certificate adds instruction in composing music for synchronous use with visual media such as film, television, video games, and other new media.

• A student pursuing an undergraduate certificate must be enrolled as a university degree-seeking Student.

• For this certificate, students must be completing a B.M. in Music, Composition Emphasis.

• Students may be admitted to the certificate by submitting a statement of interest, outlining their music background and personal goals.
