Description
Generalist Field Practicum applies social work theories and models to agency practice with diverse populations and identities. In first-year practicum, students apply a generalist perspective to develop ethically competent practice in micro, mezzo, and macro areas of social work under the supervision of an approved field instructor. In the second semester, students will continue to gain and refine social work skills that incorporate inclusive, just and culturally responsive generalist intervention strategies utilizing a developmental perspective and applying social work specific knowledge, values, and skills.
