Description

The primary focus of the course is the design and evaluation of human-computer interaction (HCI) from a user-centered perspective. The course takes a theoretical and practical approach to understanding usability and user experience design for multiple types of interactive systems. Special emphasis will be given to HCI issues within educational technology. Course content includes: theories, principles, and guidelines of HCI; user interviewing and analysis; prototyping and design refinement; evaluation and user testing.
