Academic Assessment and Interventions for Students with Learning Difficulties

Description

The focus on this course will be on the understanding of how to apply empirically validate interventions to address academic and learning difficulties. Participants will be exposed to a variety of strategies and methods for intervening with achievement and learning problems in the schools. Areas of focus include reading, written language, mathematics, organizational and study skills, ELL learners, and content area curricula. Students enrolled in ED PS 7380 will be held to a higher standard and may be assigned additional coursework.
