Be familiar with a varieties of learning/adaptive algorithms.

Be familiar with multirate signal processing methods and their applications to software radios.

Be familiar with pulse-shaping at the transmitter, matched filtering at the receiver, as well as a poll of synchronization algorithms that are required for successful recovery of the data at the receiver.

Build a pair of transmitter and receiver in software.

Design a complete receiver system and detect the content of a number of received signals that will be given to them.

Design and develop a complete system (a digital radio system).
