Cognitive-Affective Bases of Behavior
Description
Advanced course in the psychological theory of emotion and cognition. Students will develop a critical perspective on cognitive and affective bases of behavior, with a focus on classic theory and research on cognitive and emotion; debates about the definition of emotion and cognition; research methods in the study of cognition and emotion; and gender and cultural differences in the expression of emotion and cognition.
