This seminar explores the theories, issues, and research of metacognition. The objectives are to (a) examine key concepts and principles of metacognitive theory and research, (b) critically review seminal research studies that have contributed to our knowledge of metacognition, and (c) develop a research proposal or term paper that will investigate an aspect of metacognition.
