Applied Legal Writing
Description
Applied Legal Writing builds on skills learned in a first-year legal writing course and provides students with significant experience researching and writing persuasive legal documents. Assignments are designed to improve students' ability to engage in legal research, complex legal analysis, and persuasive argument. The class also addresses critical writing skills such as structure, organization, grammar, word choice, and proper citation form. Enrollment is completed by the Assistant Dean of Students or the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
