Description

This course expands substantially on the core finance topics introduced in FINAN 3020/3021 and is intended to cover similar topics to FINAN 4030 in greater depth. Topics include accounting statements and financial statement analysis, cash planning and working capital management, evaluating long-term financing needs linked to growth expectations, financial mathematics and analysis, capital budgeting, risk and return, cost of capital, capital structure choices, bond valuation, and the term structure of interest rates, stock valuation models, project valuation and an introduction to real options, and corporate governance and corporate social responsibility choices.
