Alternative Investments
Description
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of alternative investments, their risk and return characteristics, and the role they play in asset allocation and portfolio diversification. The course will cover private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real assets (real estate, infrastructure, natural resources), and many of the sub-strategies in each. The course also provides an understanding of institutional asset owners, which are the most common investors in these asset classes. Course content will include guest lectures from industry professionals, readings, and case studies.
