Description

This course is designed to delve into the rapidly evolving intersection of generative AI (genAI) and healthcare and offers an overview of genAI as applied to healthcare, beginning with fundamental concepts in AI and machine learning. Students will engage in hands-on sessions with genAI tools and datasets, learning to evaluate AI model performance and assess real-world implementation and impact. Key modules focus on genAI’s applications in clinical decision support, offering insights into predictive modeling for diagnosis and therapy, integration into clinical workflows, personalized medicine, exploring genAI in drug repurposing, and personal genomic data analysis. The course includes practical projects, final project, guest lectures from industry and academic experts, and case studies.
