ME EN2010 - Statics (3 cr)
Description
Analysis of particles and rigid bodies using vector statics. Topics include: vector operations; forces, moments, couples, and resultants; static equilibrium in two and three dimensions; statically equivalent force systems; trusses, frames, and machines; centroids, distributed loads, and moments of inertia; free body method of analysis; friction; and internal forces and bending moments in structural members.
