ART1080 - NM Intro to Ceramics (3 cr)
Description
This introductory ceramics course for non-majors explores fundamental 3D design through both handbuilding and wheelthrowing techniques. Students will investigate form, texture, repetition, and spatial relationships while learning how materials and processes shape artistic outcomes. Emphasis is placed on developing technical skills, personal expression, and an understanding of ceramics as both functional and sculptural art.
