Description
The course focuses on developing advanced-low level of the language and cultural proficiency in the Portuguese language enabling students to communicate in various target language contexts, e.g., academic, informal, and situational settings, etc. both in writing and orally etc. The course aims at further developing students’ language skills through a more advanced acquisition of vocabulary, grammar, and cultural knowledge that will reinforce the knowledge and understanding of diverse life experiences and facilitate fluent, appropriate, and culturally nuanced language interpretation and use. Intensive work on speaking, reading, writing and grammar skills. First course for students who learned the language through an immersive experience, such as residence in a Portuguese-speaking country or community.
