Program Admissions Requirements

Students pursuing a MEM degree typically have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited US institution. Applicants with degrees from other areas or non-accredited institutions will be considered, but students may need to complete additional work (math, statistics, etc.) to be prepared to take MEM courses.

Graduate degree applications will be considered holistically. Admitted students typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher, and the university requires a 3.0. However, students with lower GPAs are encouraged to apply. The personal statement from such students should explain their individual circumstances and describe why the student believes that they will succeed and earn a MEM degree.

GRE scores are not required for admission.

Students that earned their bachelor's degree in a foreign country must satisfy the equivalent standard from that country and may also need to satisfy the university's English proficiency requirements.

In addition to these requirements, all students must complete the university's graduate application process. This application process may include:

  1. Transcripts

  2. Letter(s) of recommendation

  3. Personal statement

  4. Professional resume

  5. Application fee
