Advanced Financial Analysis

Students will construct, implement, and stress test advanced financial models that integrate coding, statistical programming, quantitative methods, and technical valuation techniques. They will apply these tools to evaluate complex financial instruments, capital structure decisions, and multi scenario forecasts, demonstrating the ability to produce analytically rigorous and decision relevant outputs for sophisticated financial contexts.

Students will evaluate complex financial problems using data driven analytical approaches grounded in finance and accounting principles. They will apply methodological rigor as they interpret financial statements, assess firm performance, analyze investment opportunities, and model risk return tradeoffs. Students will justify their analytical decisions using evidence based reasoning that reflects professional standards in financial analysis and capital markets evaluation.
