Architectural Studies

Show ability in analyzing spatial, qualitative and quantitative data to address real world problems.

Students will gain the ability to conduct independent, original, and scientifically meritorious work. This ability is built upon the knowledge of social theory, research design, and quantitative and qualitative analytical approaches developed in required coursework, preliminary exam preparation, and through faculty mentorship.

Students are expected to have developed a fundamental understanding of the values of architectural and urban design, its standards of measurement and an ability to communicate those values in verbal, written and graphic form.
