Atmospheric Sciences

Demonstrate a basic understanding of dynamic meteorology, physical meteorology, and climate processes.

Be able to use observational, theoretical, numerical, or statistical methods for atmospheric research as part of a team carrying out advanced work.

Complete a research thesis on a selected topic that contributes to knowledge within the atmospheric and/or related sciences.

Possess the ability to communicate with peer and lay audiences using scientific evidence.

Be prepared to undertake graduate study at the Ph.D. level or to take positions in the public, private, or academic sectors that require technical analysis skills.
