Complete ALL of the following Courses:
Students are required to complete a one-semester teaching assistantship. Participation in the departmental journal club class, research in progress meetings, seminars, and lab research conferences are also required.
AND
Earn at least 14 credits from the following:
Candidates must pass a preliminary examination and submit and defend a dissertation based on original research.
AND
Complete 1 1/2 semesters of Approved Electives
