Program Description

Our PhD program provides intensive research training and coursework in biomedical informatics. The primary goal of the program is to train the next generation of students to be independent scientists who can transform data into knowledge to improve the health of individuals and populations.

Program Admissions Requirements

Application Instructions:

  • Three References (academic or professional): the online application form will have reference forms that your references can upload directly and electronically.

  • Transcripts: A minimum of a 3.0 GPA

  • CV/Resume

  • Personal statement (1-2 pages)

  • TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.5 (international applicants only)

  • Official GRE, GMAT or MCAT scores. (Scores are to be sent to the University test center University code 4853).

  • Prerequisites of basic courses in programming (python preferred), statistics and basic biology are required.
