Students are required to take this seminar during their fall semester of their freshman year at the University of Utah.
Chemistry majors are expected to take the chemistry section of Scientific Writing, WRTG 3014. This course should be taken after passing WRTG 2010 and before taking CHEM 3000 (Quantitative Analysis), preferably in a student’s second year.
Advanced labs completed to fulfill this requirement cannot be used to simultaneously fulfill an Elective requirement.
