Program Graduation Requirements
Demography certificate students would, as part of the certificate requirements, work with faculty mentors on specific demographic research projects to gain experience in applying their skills to real-world problems.
Students need not be matriculated to obtain the certificate.
Students who wish to enroll may apply any certificate courses which they have already completed, providing that the grade earned for any such course is a C- or better.
Matriculated graduate students should take courses at the 6000-level, nonmatriculated students can take courses at the 5000- or 6000-level.
Certificate Type
Embedded, Stand Alone
Embedded certificates are conferred concurrently with a degree.
Stand Alone certificates are conferred to a student who is not seeking a degree.
