Program Description

The Community Health Promotion & Education degree program equips students with the knowledge and skills to improve public health outcomes through effective outreach and education. The program focuses on developing strategies to address health disparities, promote wellness, and prevent disease in diverse communities. 

Program Admissions Requirements

There are no admissions requirements for the major or for the Community Health Education Specialist, Worksite Wellness, and Health Promotion emphases.

Students applying to the Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) emphasis must:

  1. Meet with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Emphasis advisor prior to applying.

  2. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.7.

  3. Have taken all prerequisite courses within the last 7 years.

  4. Successfully complete admission process to the closed major

Program Fee

$1600 per semester for Nuclear Medicine Emphasis only
