Program Graduation Requirements
All certificate courses must be completed with a grade of "C-" or better.
All certificate courses must have a 2.0 minimum GPA.
At least 9 semester hours in Diversity Certificate courses must be completed at the U of U.
Certificate Type
Embedded
Embedded certificates are conferred concurrently with a degree.
Stand Alone certificates are conferred to a student who is not seeking a degree.
Complete ALL of the following Courses:
Earn at least 9 credits from the following:
Students can earn a Diversity elective credit in the certificate by taking courses including Internships (SOC 4890, SOC 4891, SOC 4892), Research (SOC 3950), and Directed Reading (SOC 3951). Students can earn a maximum of 3 credit hours via these courses for the Diversity certificate
Earned at least 6 credits from: Courses from ETHNC, GNDR, or DISAB 1000-5999 or from courses listed
