College of Humanities Undergraduate Certificate

Program Description

The undergraduate certificate in Environmental Humanities and Transformative Justice (EHTJ) is designed for current matriculated BA and BS students to complement their program of study through a focus on environmental humanities and social justice. The EHTJ certificate provides an interdisciplinary and justice-oriented focus on environmental issues, through which students explore the social and cultural dimensions of environmental crises; synthesize ideas at the intersections of the sciences, the humanities, and our communities; and explore transformative possibilities for the future.

Program Admissions Requirements

The student must be matriculated in an undergraduate program at the University of Utah.
