All courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
A maximum of 4 transfer courses may be accepted upon approval of the department.
A minimum of 12 credit hours at the 4000-5000 level in English are required.

Other courses may be approved by the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
Students may use any First Experiences (FE) course to fulfill this requirement, but the listed courses are highly recommended.
Complete one course from the 'Literary Theory' courses listed in the BA Requirements.
Complete one course from the 'Diversity in Literature' courses listed in the BA Requirements.
From the following departments or programs:
