Program Description

The degree is designed for individuals seeking management and leadership roles in resource industries. Professionals with backgrounds in engineering and the physical sciences are typical, but the degree program is also open to individuals in business or communications who have strong technical backgrounds.

The program will focus on the science and technology of resource utilization, as well as in finance, economics, management, leadership, law, and innovation.

Program Admissions Requirements

  • An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, based on all undergraduate work. If the undergraduate GPA is below 3.0, a GPA will be calculated on the last 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of the undergraduate work; a GPA of at least 3.0, based on this calculation, will used for admission consideration;

  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university;

  • Receiving a recommendation from the PMST Executive Committee for admission to the graduate program.
