  • A GPA of 2.25 in departmental required and elective courses.

  • Grades of Credit or those of less than C- are not accepted in departmental or required courses.

  • All content courses must be passed with a grade of C or better if student is going to apply to the teaching licensure program at the U.

Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor in the college of education as well as the Academic Advisor for the Dept. of Geology & Geophysics.

This degree plan can be completed as part of the combined 4 yr BS/1 yr MEd program to meet all requirements for licensure.  Otherwise, students will need to take additional post-baccalaureate courses to obtain a teaching license.
