Students will be able to analyze global business environments and evaluate the economic and social implications of international financial decision making. They will integrate core functional areas of business with advanced finance concepts, including corporate finance, investments, risk management, and financial institutions to apply these principles to real world and internationally oriented financial problems.

Students will be able to communicate financial information clearly and effectively in both written and oral formats. They will work productively in diverse team settings to solve complex financial and business challenges, demonstrating the communication and teamwork skills necessary for professional success.

Students will evaluate ethical issues in finance and business, apply ethical frameworks to financial decision making, and demonstrate professional integrity in competitive and ambiguous environments. They will articulate the role of values, ethical conduct, and social responsibility in finance.

Advanced Financial Analysis Emphasis: Students will construct, implement, and stress test advanced financial models that integrate coding, statistical programming, quantitative methods, and technical valuation techniques. They will apply these tools to evaluate complex financial instruments, capital structure decisions, and multi scenario forecasts, demonstrating the ability to produce analytically rigorous and decision relevant outputs for sophisticated financial contexts.

Advanced Financial Analysis Emphasis: Students will evaluate complex financial problems using data driven analytical approaches grounded in finance and accounting principles. They will apply methodological rigor as they interpret financial statements, assess firm performance, analyze investment opportunities, and model risk return tradeoffs. Students will justify their analytical decisions using evidence based reasoning that reflects professional standards in financial analysis and capital markets evaluation.

Fintech Emphasis: Students will analyze and diagnose complex business and financial problems by applying principles of financial innovation alongside proficiency in coding, data analytics, and financial technologies. They will design, build, and implement technology enabled solutions that include secure data processes, automated workflows, and algorithmic tools that demonstrably improve the security, speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency of financial services in real world organizational contexts.

Fintech Emphasis: Students will leverage emerging financial technologies to expand equitable access to financial services and evaluate how specific technological approaches address authentic financial challenges such as risk management, fraud prevention, market inefficiencies, and customer inclusion. They will critically assess the effectiveness, limitations, ethical considerations, and broader economic impacts of technology based financial solutions, demonstrating the ability to communicate evidence based recommendations for their adoption or refinement.

Real Estate Emphasis: Students will apply advanced real estate financial analysis skills by constructing and implementing comprehensive financial models to include development pro formas, acquisition underwriting, debt and equity waterfall structures, and market based cash flow projections. They will integrate coding, quantitative methods, and technical valuation techniques to evaluate investment feasibility and capital structure decisions specific to commercial and residential real estate assets.

Real Estate Emphasis: Students will analyze complex real estate investment and development problems using data driven approaches grounded in finance, accounting, and real estate market principles. They will demonstrate methodological rigor and accuracy as they interpret market data, assess risk, model sensitivity scenarios, and justify investment recommendations with evidence based reasoning aligned to professional real estate standards.
